Let’s make Cincinnati better for the next generation.

Cincinnati is my home - it’s my past and my future. I am proud to be a part of a family that has Cincinnati ingrained in our DNA. It is my firm belief that we are on the precipice of a bright, prosperous future. With a unified purpose and restoring trust in each other, we can build that future together. I believe every child in our city deserves to have a roof over their head, food on their table, a safe neighborhood to live, and equal opportunities for future success. That’s why I’m running for re-election to Cincinnati City Council in 2023.

“The greatest gift life has to offer is the opportunity to work hard at work worth doing.”

Meet Liz.

I’m a fifth generation Cincinnatian. I grew up here, attending Kilgour School (K), Cardinal Pacelli (1-8), and St. Ursula Academy (HS).

Competing for the Cincinnati Marlins taught me focus, hard work, and discipline. It ultimately gave me the opportunity to compete as a scholarship athlete for UCLA. I served as team captain of the swim team my senior year as well as co-chair of the Bruin Athletic Council, representing all 800 student-athletes on campus.

I’ve worked for Cintas as a healthcare consultant, UC Health as an engagement strategist, and am currently the marketing director for The Jim Stengel Company. My breadth of business experience provides me with a unique perspective to work effectively with our business leaders to create jobs and spur much needed economic growth.

I’ve served on the boards of Honor Flight Tri-State, Adoption Professionals, Cincinnati Para-Swim Open, Talbert House, Lane 8 Fund, Dan Beard Council, and Friends of the Classic.

I have volunteered for numerous organizations that serve our community - Cincinnati Cancer Center, FBI Cincinnati Citizens Academy Alumni Association, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati, UC Presidential Bicentennial Committee, Women’s Crosstown Shootout, Professional Leadership Network, SW OH HS Officials Classic, Cincinnati USA Women's Sports Association, MLB All-Star Game Community Organizing Committee, Cincinnati Orchestra Chamber Encore, and Read Aloud 15 Minutes Cincinnati.

I am a member of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber C-Change Class 6, a 2018 graduate of the FBI Cincinnati Citizens Academy, and a 2016 Cincinnati Business Courier Forty Under 40 Honoree.

My husband Jonathan Bennie and I live in Hyde Park with our two young kids.
